Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool (Affies) sent out their most menacing message to Grey College on Wednesday with their comprehensive 43-21 dismantling of Paarl Boys’ High in the main game on the first day of the Under-19 rugby section of the Wildeklawer Festival in Kimberley.
Of course, Affies must still play Oakdale on Saturday at the festival at Hoërskool Diamantveld, with Grey having two games against Maritzburg College and Garsfontein on Thursday and Saturday.
The two sides will meet in Pretoria on 18 May, with Affies having a bye on 11 May when Grey College will be hosting Paarl Boys’ High.
