The 16 players competing in the snooker tournament at the 2022 World Games have been confirmed and a wide array of nationalities will be taking their cues to Birmingham, Alabama in July.
Various global federations have nominated players to compete and there are far fewer big names in action than the last edition, in 2017, when Kyren Wilson beat Ali Carter in the final.
The European Billiards and Snooker Association (EBSA) have nominated the likes of Julien Leclercq and Antoni Kowalski, with Leclercq having just won his place on the WST tour next season through the Q Tour play-offs.
The Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports have picked the recognisable figure of Pankaj Advani, who has been to two ranking quarter-finals on the pro tour.
