The U.S. women’s national team’s final match of the October international window has been determined.
Argentina will oppose Emma Hayes’ squad on Oct. 30 at Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky, U.S. Soccer announced Monday. This will conclude a three-match October window for the USWNT after a pair of matches against Iceland on Oct. 24 and 27.
It will mark the fifth all-time meeting between the USWNT and Argentina, and the first since 2021. The USWNT won that showdown 6-0 in Orlando, Florida.
Argentina did not qualify for the 2024 Olympics but put in a solid showing at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. La Albiceleste were eliminated from group stage play after earning one point in a 2-2 draw with South Africa.
They also lost to Italy 1-0 and Sweden 2-0.
The USWNT remains in France for the conclusion of the Olympic Games in Paris.
