LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Friday night time marked one of many final alternatives to see a planetary alignment, often known as a planetary parade. Seven planets lined up within the night time sky.

On the School of Southern Nevada’s Planetarium, spectators had the chance to make the most of the varsity’s telescopes and commentary space to view the alignment.

“We’ve had four or five planets in the sky several times since 2016,” Andrew Kerr, CSN’s Planetarium supervisor stated. “Seven is a little bit different. We won’t see that again until 2040.”

Telescope commentary is free, beginning after the planetarium’s 8:00 pm reveals.
