In 2008, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings as the overall 123rd pick. Currently, he plays as a center for Moscow’s Spartak. During the 2024/2025 season, the 34-year-old Loktionov participated in 76 games, including the KHL playoffs, accumulating 43 points (19 goals and 24 assists).
