A Excellent Samaritan spotted a kitten darting around the street and made up our minds to prevent and examine.
As she looked for the stray, she heard cries coming from a close-by typhoon drain and learned a kitten was once trapped beneath. She contacted her native rescue, Liberation Hepper Space, for lend a hand. “It happened to be just five minutes from my house, so of course, I jumped in my car and drove straight over,” Alyssa, a volunteer with the rescue, shared with Love Meow.
“It didn’t take long to locate what drain he was in, as he was screaming at the top of his lungs.”

Alyssa attempted the use of a couple of makeshift contraptions to rescue the kitten, however not anything labored. Fortunately, reinforcement quickly arrived. “Several rescue directors and friends joined the rescue efforts. With their help, we were able to remove the grate that was covering the drain and crawl down inside.”
With a serious thunderstorm looming, they knew they had been in a race towards time to get the kitten to protection.
