30-year-old British racer and head of Aston Martin’s F1 Academy, **Jessica Hawkins**, shared her thoughts on the possibility of **Lily Verstappen**, the daughter of four-time Formula 1 champion **Max Verstappen**, following a career in racing.

“Lily Verstappen in motorsport? I truly hope we’ll get to see that in the future. Certainly, I believe that having strong racing genes is beneficial, and I look forward to seeing that potential emerge sooner rather than later.

In my opinion, there are a few younger female drivers in motorsport right now who are still at the beginning of their careers and show promising signs of becoming exceptionally talented. However, it’s too early to make definitive judgments. The key is for them to receive the right support and resources during this formative stage.

The early phase of any driver’s career is crucial. When we compare what they’re doing now with what was happening many years ago, we have made significant progress. While we can’t expect to see dramatic changes overnight, the trajectory we’re on is very encouraging. We simply need to continue the current efforts. The young female racers we see today need time to grow and gain experience. I believe this will yield benefits in a few years,” Hawkins was quoted by GPblog.
