LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Two years after storms worn out sections of Mt. Charleston trails, persons are getting annoyed that they cannot entry widespread mountain climbing spots.
A social media put up on Thursday explaining steps in fixing the Bristlecone Path at Lee Canyon acted as a lightning rod, prompting responses that targeted on Path Canyon, a favourite for hikers within the Kyle Canyon space.
“Hard to imagine that that repairing a trail would have a major impact on any of these concerns,” one commenter mentioned. “Why haven’t the Mary Jane and Trail Canyon repairs begun?? There used to be hundreds of people, many that would never get outdoors, use these trails and now an over reaction to potential environmental issues is stopping people from enjoying the Mt Charleston environment. Obtain a Categorical Exclusion if federal funding is requiring it and get these trails open. Complete disservice to our community.”

They need all the paths fastened. They usually need it now.
