LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The variety of lethal crashes in Las Vegas retains climbing, and police say the valley is within the midst of a visitors security disaster.
The most recent tragedy was the demise of 34-year-old Eric Wilborn, who was struck by a automobile whereas crossing Nellis Boulevard. His demise is now the 113th visitors fatality Metro has investigated this 12 months.
“At the end of the day, life is life, accidents are accidents, God is going to forgive him, and hopefully he learns a lesson from that, but it’s not going to bring my brother back to be hateful. My brother is gone, and he didn’t deserve to be gone this way,” Michael Champ, Wilborn’s brother, stated.
Wilborn’s family members gathered to honor his reminiscence, candles lit, prayers stated, and tears shed as they remembered a brother, a son, and a pal taken too quickly. Champ stated his brother was a caring man with an enormous coronary heart. Somebody they will always remember.

“I’m going to miss that smile, the way he would make us laugh just talking to him, like I said, my brother got me through a lot. I kid you not, if it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t even have been able to play basketball my senior year. He did half my homework,” Champ stated.
