LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Residents in an east Las Vegas valley group say a homeless encampment close to Boulder Freeway has grown shortly – bringing trash, tents, and security considerations.
For neighbors like Mark Dabbis, the world close to Boulder Freeway and Indios Avenue has modified dramatically.
“It’s really bad, especially at night, so I try not to come here at night. Even here at 7-Eleven, they always have problems,” Dabbis stated.
Behind the 7-Eleven, simply steps away from Arizona Charlie’s, tents crowd the empty lot. A number of encampments have shaped behind the comfort retailer, close to sidewalks, and throughout the road.

“So many. If you go to the bus stop here, you always find two or three people sitting there, homeless. All the time,” Dabbis stated.
