Two-time champion of the RDS GP series and leader of “LECAR Одержимые Моторспорт,” Arkadi Tsaregradtsev, shared his thoughts on the possibility of having former Formula 1 driver Vitaly Petrov behind the wheel of his drift car.
“I would be happy to let Vitaly take a spin in a racing car. The key is to understand the purpose behind it. If there’s potential for further development down the line, then I’d have no objections. Alternatively, there should at least be some sort of media angle to justify it. Just for a joyride, it’s more complicated. It was similar when he tested for me on the BR03; that was with the goal of me participating in ‘Endurance.’ Unfortunately, that didn’t work out. The same applies here. If he’s going to drive for a purpose, then of course we would organize the tests,” Tsaregradtsev stated in an interview with Championship correspondent Mikhail Dubovsky.
