The Philadelphia Eagles have made their first important transfer forward of the Nov. 4 NFL commerce deadline.
They acquired cornerback Michael Carter II from the New York Jets in change for broad receiver John Metchie III.
The commerce addresses a defensive secondary that has struggled to seek out consistency at a number of positions this season.
