The acting head coach of Amur, **Alexander Andrievsky**, summarized the game against SKA (1:2 OT).
“We played a good match, our offense was impressive; we created enough opportunities to win without facing such a tense finish. Unfortunately, a strange goal slipped in — these things happen. Nevertheless, I want to commend the guys. The losses weigh on us, but they find the strength and emotion within. We managed to free them up; there were fewer retreats into our zone, and we started moving forward more quickly.
I wouldn’t say we were tired at the end, or that the army team raised their intensity. Regardless, SKA has a higher overall skill set — that made a difference in the final moments. We lacked that edge, while they had what it took to convert two of their shots. We simply gave Broadhurst and Galchenyuk a rest; as I mentioned before, everyone will be involved in the rotation. Both will play tomorrow; we will need fresh legs,” Andrievsky said, according to the KHL website.
