The head of the Formula 1 team Red Bull, **[Laurent Mekies](https://example.com)**, shared his thoughts on his role for the 2025 season.
“We had discussions about the impact that I believed I had. When I mentioned that this influence was nonexistent, I genuinely meant it and I still hold that view. Our focus is solely on pure racing, and everything we’ve done together has been about concentrating on racing. That’s all there is to it.
Our goal is to protect the team so they can focus on their strengths—technical discussions, both easy and complex. We need to create an environment where difficult conversations can happen because what we are aiming for is to make the car faster. The team’s accomplishments this year are a testament to that, as such a significant return hasn’t been seen in a long time,” Mekies stated, as reported by RacingNews365.
