The fifth-ranked fighter in the UFC lightweight division (up to 70 kg), Englishman Paddy Pimblett, shared his thoughts about the number one contender, Arman Tsarukyan, and his supporters.
“People are actually starting to root for Arman because they hate me. That’s the only reason he’s gained fans. In contrast, my relationship with fans is more of a ‘love-hate’ situation—some adore me, while others can’t stand me. Those who are jumping on the Arman support train are merely those who dislike me and want to see me lose. That’s the sole reason Arman has fans. No one genuinely likes him,” Pimblett stated on Daniel Cormier’s YouTube channel, Daniel Cormier.
