British Mercedes driver **George Russell** sustained a leg injury after hitting the front wing of his car. A video of the incident was shared on the team’s social media channels.

The Formula 1 pre-season testing took place at the Barcelona racetrack from January 26 to 30. A total of 10 out of 11 teams traveled to Catalonia, with each allowed to participate in sessions for three out of five days. The British team Williams chose to skip the testing sessions due to delays in their program, as they continue to strive for the car’s maximum performance.
