Las Vegas – Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department captured an armed carjacking suspect early Thursday morning following a high-speed chase in the northeast valley.[1][2]

A report of an armed carjacking jolted the quiet neighborhood just after 4:50 a.m. The incident occurred in the 6000 block of Strongbow Drive, near Mt. Hood Street and East Lake Mead Boulevard.[3] Authorities received the call at approximately 4:51 a.m., detailing a suspect who used a firearm to steal a vehicle from a victim.[1]
