Gary Buck is the Chairman of his Proprietor Company (OC) of The Botanica in Melbourne’s St Kilda Rd. Gary talked to AEVA concerning the journey his OC went on to put in EV Charging.

In 2022 the OC had not had any requests for EV charging however “we wanted to be ahead of any demand, knowing that early adopters may have strong views on their preferred solution”. So, the OC surveyed homeowners and renters within the constructing.
Gary tells me: There was a worry {that a} “privileged Tesla owner” would purchase in and demand infrastructure that the OC wouldn’t assist. Paradoxically, there are not any Tesla homeowners at the moment residing at The Botanica, however numerous petrol Porsches.
