Police responded to the harrowing scene around 5:30 p.m., uncovering a trail of violence that spanned from a residential street to a bustling tourist hub. Officers arrived at the 8200 block of West Cupertino Heights Way, a housing development just north of Mountain’s Edge Regional Park, after a neighbor dialed 911 to report a stabbing. The caller described seeing a man injured inside a nearby home. Paramedics pronounced the victim, a man in his 70s, dead at the scene from multiple stab wounds.[2]
