East Las Vegas – A quiet night turned deadly when a 31-year-old man lost his life in his vehicle outside an apartment complex early Friday morning.[1][2] Police quickly identified and arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting, marking a significant development in the investigation. The incident unfolded in the 2800 block of East Bonanza Road, highlighting ongoing concerns in the east valley neighborhood.

Eduardo Bravo Ambrocio sat in his car listening to music around 12:45 a.m. on March 27, 2026. Witnesses later reported hearing two men arguing nearby.[1] Gunshots rang out shortly after, and the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
Bravo Ambrocio’s girlfriend emerged from the apartment to check on him. She discovered him suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and immediately called 911. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers responded promptly, rendered aid, and summoned medical personnel. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the location.[2]
Swift Identification and Arrest
Detectives moved fast following the homicide call. They identified 32-year-old David Medina-Luna as the suspect later that Friday.[1] Authorities took him into custody and booked him into the Clark County Detention Center.
