Henderson, Nevada – Basic High School’s boys volleyball team claimed a dramatic victory over crosstown rival Foothill on Tuesday night in a pivotal Class 5A Southern League matchup.[1][2] The No. 3-ranked Wolves extended their season with a 3-2 win, pushing their record to 18-7 overall and 2-1 in league play. Foothill, sitting at No. 4 in the Review-Journal rankings, fell to 14-9 overall despite entering with a 3-1 league mark.[1]

Basic seized early momentum by capturing the first two sets in tight fashion, both 25-23.[1][2] Foothill responded fiercely, rallying to take the third set 26-24 and dominating the fourth 25-14.
