Houston ISD Launches 2026-27 School Choice Application Window
The Houston Independent School District (HISD) has officially commenced the application period for its 2026-27 school choice program, inviting families to explore educational opportunities beyond their assigned neighborhood schools. This initiative is designed to broaden student access to a variety of specialized programs, including magnet schools, career-focused academies, and dual-language immersion options.
