DALLAS—After a four-match run of wins on the thirty fifth annual Dallas Cup youth event—together with a 3-2 win over Fluminense within the semifinals on Friday—the U.S. under-20 males’s nationwide group misplaced to River Plate 2-0 within the championship match. The loss marks the sixth time an American nationwide squad has didn’t emerge victorious on the prestigious youth competitors.
