MacBook Neo outsold each different MacBook in Apple’s lineup in its launch quarter. IDC experiences Apple shipped 1.1 million models of its most cost-effective Mac, greater than the MacBook Air and MacBook Professional.
What’s spectacular is that the Neo achieved this feat regardless of being on sale for under three weeks in the course of the quarter.
MacBook Neo is off to a blockbuster begin
Apple refreshed the MacBook Air and MacBook Professional in March 2025 with the M5 and M5 Professional/Max chips. It unveiled the MacBook Neo across the identical time, with the $599 laptop computer happening sale on March 11.
