My close friends weren’t shocked at all. They understand that I’m someone who thrives on challenges and adapts my life for those I love, embracing the opportunity for adventure and exploring new parts of the world. The most crucial element is the support from my wife and kids, their understanding of what’s at stake, and their agreement. I wouldn’t be here if my family had expressed any discomfort or hesitance.

For instance, they spent two months here and just recently returned home. They enjoyed it. So, for them, it was like, “Okay, Louis, this will be a great challenge and an exciting experience for you.” I was ready for that.
