For a quality and healthy sleep, it’s crucial not just to have a comfortable bed but also to maintain the right microclimate in the bedroom. Sleep expert Daria Lebedeva discussed with NEWS.ru the ideal temperature and humidity levels for restful sleep.
According to her, the perfect temperature for a bedroom is between 18-20 °C, while the humidity should be kept within 40-60%. Achieving these conditions can be facilitated by an air conditioner with a dehumidifying function, a humidifier, or by regularly airing out the room.
Lebedeva also pointed out that the atmosphere in the bedroom should promote relaxation. To create this environment, one should avoid unnecessary items, work equipment, or bright distractions in the room. It is preferable to decorate the interior in calm, muted colors and to steer clear of strong scents that could hinder falling asleep.
